Veteran real estate attorney joins Clark Hill in San Diego

Brian Adkins joins the firm from Buchalter. He specializes in aiding clients with fair housing complaints and governmental agency matters.

Clark Hill PLC has announced the addition of Brian Adkins to its real estate practice group in San Diego.

"Clark Hill's extensive network of offices aligns well with my clients' property locations, offering significant advantages," Adkins said. "This move provides access to a comprehensive range of practice areas, enhancing our ability to serve clients effectively."

Formerly with Buchalter, Adkins brings a broad skill set that extends beyond conventional real estate disputes. He specializes in aiding clients across the country with fair housing complaints and governmental agency matters, with a primary focus on advocating for multifamily property owners and managers.

"I began my career in fair housing defense and have since broadened my expertise to encompass various aspects of multifamily real estate law. This area remains the cornerstone of my practice," Adkins said.

Notably, Adkins maintained a parallel career as a National Football League agent for 11 years, negotiating player contracts and managing marketing opportunities. He relinquished his certification two years ago to concentrate on his legal practice.

Robyn Henry, Clark Hill's Real Estate Business Unit Director, commented that Adkins' experience in fair housing and multi-family developments would strengthen the practice.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Adkins is actively involved in the San Diego community, serving on three nonprofit boards: as president of the Poway Youth Basketball League, secretary for HomeAid San Diego, and as a member of the Executive Committee for the San Diego Children's Discovery Museum.

Adkins, who joins Clark Hill as a member, cited the firm's extensive geographic reach as another key factor in his decision to join.

"This broader geographical reach enables us to deliver prompt, customized assistance to our clients wherever they operate," he noted.
