The San Fernando Valley Bar Association (SFVBA) and Valley Community Legal Foundation held their installation gala Thursday at the Calabasas Country Club. Amanda Moghaddam of Lawyers' Mutual Insurance was sworn in as SFVBA president, with Matthew A. Breddan of The Reape-Rickett Law Firm leading the foundation. Justin J. Effres of Effres & Effres received the "Attorney Referral Service Distinguished Advocate Award," while SFVBA trustee and ADR Services Inc. mediator Steven M. Sepassi was presented with the "President's Award."
