The Marine Corps drilled to the deepest levels of our psyche discipline in all things. After all those years of learning to embrace the suck in extreme weather and working conditions, it's no issue to focus on client work for 10 or 12 hour days when the need arises. I will always take pride in a job done and done well.
In a society increasingly concerned with "What's in it for me?", veterans should continue to serve as examples of service over self. We should also strive to set the standards at school, work, or in the home.
