Served 1970-1976

Sergeant

My service allowed me to live with and interact with a broad range of Americans and travel the world which expanded my ability to relate to my clients and others in my practice. My service also enabled me to understand the true meaning of commitment as it relates to taking an oath to serve and committing to serve the constitution of the United States. The years that I served were during a violent and turbulent period in American history which impacted all who served. My service made me a more informed individual, better lawyer and advocate.

Service, duty and commitment is what it means to be a Veteran. Veterans serve to protect the country and all Americans. We take an oath to defend the country and our oath is to the constitution.

Without Veterans, America would not exist as there have been numerous conflicts since the founding of the country where Veterans have fought to protect our freedoms.

Veterans have been wounded, disabled and died in service to the ideals expressed in the Declaration of Independence, constitution and bill of rights.

We are a brotherhood and sisterhood who connect with and continue the long line of Veterans from the first Veterans with George Washington to the present Veterans.

That is what it means to be a Veteran.
