Colonel
The Marine Corps taught me discipline, work ethic and esprit de corps, all traits and attributes which are absolutely essential for a trial attorney. In the Corps, as a criminal trial litigator, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to practice with and before some of the most dedicated lawyers in the country who mentored me and taught me the value of hard work. I was taught respect for the rule of law and even-handed justice.
My father was veteran and proud member of the Greatest Generation. He was a B25 Bomber pilot in the Army Air Corps and was shot down flying a mission over Japan in WWII. Fortunately for him (and me) he survived the crash and was captured. He was held as a Japanese POW for a year and suffered brutal torture. He taught me what it means to sacrifice and serve for something greater than self.
