In the military I learned discipline, perseverance, service to others and commitment to principles bigger than myself. These qualities served me as government lawyer helping to make my community a better place to live. They continue to serve now in private practice and as a volunteer with the California State Guard providing legal assistance to deployed service members.
Being a veteran means that I had the honor and privilege to work alongside some of the best men and women this nation has ever produced.
