My time in the military helped me develop an array of professional skills that I believe will be invaluable to my career as an attorney. The Navy instilled in me a rigorous attention to detail, a heightened sensitivity to risk, the tools necessary to evaluate risks and make appropriate risk decisions and the perseverance required to succeed when complicated and challenging situations arise.

Being a veteran, to me, means being part of a community that is connected through shared experiences, values and commitment to service. It means having the confidence to know that I can tackle any obstacle that comes my way. And it means that no matter where I end up in life, I can always be proud of the time I spent in service to my country.
