7.5 years of service

Lieutenant

The Navy taught me to love camaraderie. It's mission critical when you're deployed on a ship. It keeps you from feeling lonely when you're away from your family, and it gives you the motivation to give extra and be selfless when needed. I still love camaraderie and think it applies similarly in the practice of law. It makes work more fun, relationships with colleagues better, teams more effective and bonds with clients stronger.

Being a veteran is an honor. Many have given much more than me and served in far more impactful and heroic ways than I did, but I'm proud of my service and grateful for my time in the Navy. It was a good ride and I'd do it all again.
