Why I am fighting to appeal the Rosenblatt case

I filed an appeal challenging the Dec. 30 ruling in the Arnold Rosenblatt Revocable Living Trust case, seeking justice, transparency and accountability in a legal system that too often favors the powerful and overlooks the truth.

On Feb. 21, I filed an appeal challenging the Dec. 30 ruling in the case of the Arnold Rosenblatt Revocable Living Trust. This appeal is not just about one case, it is about justice, transparency and accountability in our legal system. ("Animal rights activist ordered to repay millions of dollars plundered from 97-year-old," Daily Journal, Dec. 3, 2024.)

For years, I have dedicated my life to advocating for fairness, truth, and ethical responsibility. I have seen firsthand how those with power and financial influence can manipulate legal proceedings to obscure the truth. But as the Buddha said, "There are three things that cannot be hidden for long - the sun, the moon, and the truth." It is time for the truth to come out.

The ruling in this case was deeply flawed and did not reflect the full reality of the situation. I firmly believe that key evidence was ignored, misrepresented or undervalued in the original trial. The implications of this go beyond my personal involvement. This case highlights serious issues in how trusts and estates are litigated in California.

The probate system is intended to ensure fairness, yet too often it is manipulated in favor of entrenched interests. The original ruling sets a dangerous precedent. One that allows questionable practices to go unchecked and prevents legitimate concerns from receiving a fair hearing.

Many people assume that the legal system automatically ensures justice but those who have been through complex litigation, especially in cases involving trusts and estates, know that is not always the case. The law can be twisted and misused, and without scrutiny serious injustices can occur.

One of the biggest issues in trust litigation is the imbalance of power. Those with access to legal resources and financial influence often have an advantage over individuals fighting for fairness. Without proper oversight, courts can become tools for those seeking to silence legitimate concerns rather than venues for justice.

This appeal is about correcting the errors of the past and ensuring that the law serves its intended purpose: to protect the truth and uphold fairness.

The outcome of my appeal will have wider implications than just this one case. If the lower court's ruling stands, it could set a precedent that allows similar injustices to continue unchecked. That is why I am fighting, not just for myself, but for anyone who has ever been silenced by a legal system that failed to hear them.

I have faith in the court of appeal and the power of truth. I am confident that justice will prevail and that the errors of the lower court will be corrected.

I will continue to fight because truth, justice and integrity demand it.
