All types of Employment matters, including individual, class, and complex disputes involving Harassment, Discrimination, Retaliation, Wrongful Termination, and Wage and Hour

Matt is a member of Judicate West's Employment Practice Group and serves as a full-time mediator focused on resolving complex workplace disputes. Known for his practical, solution-oriented approach, he works closely with parties to navigate challenging and often emotionally charged matters, helping them move beyond impasse and toward meaningful resolution.

Before transitioning to full-time mediation in 2024, Matt spent nearly two decades as an employment litigator representing both employers and employees. His experience on both the plaintiff and defense sides gives him a balanced perspective and a deep understanding of the legal, strategic, and human dynamics that often shape workplace conflicts. Over the course of his career, he has handled a wide range of employment matters, including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, and claims arising under California's Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA).

Matt began his career on the defense side, representing businesses ranging from small family-owned companies to Fortune 500 corporations. He later founded and led a boutique plaintiff-side employment firm, where he represented hundreds of clients in individual, class, and complex cases. Across his career as both a litigator and mediator, he has participated in more than 750 mediations.

In addition to his professional practice, Matt has served on the Los Angeles County Superior Court's Resolve LA Panel and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California's Mediation Panel. He has been recognized as a "Legal Visionary" by the Los Angeles Times and has been selected to Southern California Super Lawyers since 2019.
