Ana Sambold, Esq., is a highly experienced mediator, arbitrator, and global leader in the field of dispute resolution. Over the past 15 years, she has successfully facilitated the resolution of more than 1,000 cases across a broad spectrum of civil litigation matters. She consistently achieves outstanding results by virtue of her remarkable tenacity, experience, and commitment to each case.
She is a member of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals, an International Mediation Institute (IMI) Certified Mediator, a National Conflict Resolution Center-credentialed Mediator, and a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, a global society limited to the top one percent of lawyers in each jurisdiction.
Ms. Sambold is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of San Diego School of Law and has taught extensively in conflict resolution, negotiation, and ADR across the world. Fluent in Spanish, she conducts mediations in both English and Spanish and brings valuable cross-cultural insight to disputes involving multinational and multilingual parties.
As an influential leader in the field of ADR, she has served as Chair of the San Diego County Bar Association ADR Section, Co-Chair of the inaugural California Lawyers Association ADR Committee, and in numerous other leadership roles within the legal and ADR community. Most notably, she served as the 2023-2024 Chair of the ABA Dispute Resolution Section, the world's largest association of dispute resolution professionals, and currently serves as its Policy Officer.
Ms. Sambold received her training and credentials in dispute resolution from Harvard Law School, Pepperdine University School of Law - Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution, and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators among many other organizations.
