MyKhanh Shelton is a full-time employment mediator at ADR Services, Inc. who brings more than 25 years of experience spanning high-stakes litigation, Fortune 500 executive leadership, and workplace conflict resolution.
Ms. Shelton began her legal career at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP, where she litigated complex employment, business tort, copyright, and contract disputes. Early in her practice, she observed that even decisive courtroom victories often left the underlying workplace conflict unresolved. That realization ultimately shaped her transition toward mediation and strategic dispute resolution.
She later spent more than a decade in senior leadership roles at Twentieth Century Fox and Warner Bros. Discovery, serving as Senior Vice President of Employment Law and later Senior Vice President of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. She both litigated and managed employment litigation across film, television, sports, and interactive media divisions. She helped resolve hundreds of disputes involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistleblower claims, executive compensation, and wage-and-hour issues--many involving high-profile allegations and significant reputational risk.
Having served both as outside counsel and as a senior corporate executive, Ms. Shelton understands the strategic considerations that often drive settlement decisions, including insurance exposure, reputational concerns, board-level pressures, and internal organizational dynamics.
Her mediation practice focuses on employment disputes including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, disability and leave claims, whistleblower disputes, executive compensation matters, restrictive covenants, trade secrets, and wage-and-hour claims.
Attorneys value Ms. Shelton's preparation, balance, and practical approach to negotiation. She combines rigorous analysis of legal exposure with an appreciation for the human dynamics underlying workplace conflict. Known for maintaining momentum even in challenging negotiations, she works closely with counsel to help parties realistically assess risk, bridge valuation gaps, and reach durable resolution.
