Edward J. Weiss, Esq. is a highly respected neutral with more than three decades of legal experience spanning dispute resolution, complex litigation, federal prosecution, and corporate leadership. Since 2021, he has devoted his practice exclusively to serving as a mediator, arbitrator, and discovery referee, helping parties efficiently resolve complex disputes across a broad range of industries.

Mr. Weiss brings deep subject-matter knowledge and practical business insight to his neutral work. He regularly handles matters involving business and commercial disputes, class actions, employment, entertainment, intellectual property, real estate, insurance (including title insurance coverage), unfair competition, antitrust, and securities issues. Known for his thoughtful preparation, analytical rigor, and pragmatic approach, Mr. Weiss works effectively with counsel and parties to identify key issues, evaluate risk, and develop creative pathways to resolution.

Before focusing full-time on alternative dispute resolution, Mr. Weiss built a distinguished career as a litigator and trial lawyer, representing both plaintiffs and defendants in complex civil and criminal matters in state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration and mediation proceedings. His litigation experience spans consumer, commercial, and employment disputes, giving him a well-rounded understanding of the strategic and practical considerations parties face in high-stakes conflicts.

Mr. Weiss also spent 18 years at Ticketmaster in various roles including General Counsel, Chief Counsel, and Executive Vice President, where he oversaw the company's global litigation portfolio, including intellectual property, antitrust, securities, employment, and consumer matters. In that role, he led major litigation strategy, including successfully defending the company in a significant federal antitrust case and protecting the company's proprietary technology from unauthorized access.

Mr. Weiss earned his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, and his A.B. in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
