The Los Angeles Kings hoisted the team's first Stanley Cup in its 45-year existence after a decisive 6-1 victory over the New Jersey Devils on Monday.

For Jeff Solomon, head of the Kings' hockey operations and its one-man legal department, the day also marked a personal anniversary with his beloved team - his sixth. But the road to the dream and the dream job wasn't always a smooth ride.
