Before he decided to join the legal profession, Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Alfred A. Coletta was on a path to a career in the sciences.
“I got a bachelor of science degree in environmental health sciences, the reason being I needed to get a job right away,” Coletta, who now presides over Department 74 at the Metropolitan Courthouse in Los Angeles, said in an interview.
