Judge Joseph Porras adjusts to changing criminal law in felony trials

NORWALK -- Superior Court Judge Joseph R. Porras spent more than a dozen years as a prosecutor, but a blizzard of changes to criminal law in California in recent years frequently sends him to the books to research issues that come up in his long-cause felony trial department.
