WESTMINSTER - For about a year now, the book on Martha K. Gooding's nightstand has been a practice guide on California criminal law and procedure.
That's because after 30 years doing civil litigation for large law firms - the last 17 years focused exclusively on intellectual property, especially damages in major patent cases - Gooding now just handles criminal matters.
