VAN NUYS - A small but prized collection of ancient rocks, one dating back 600 million years, line a shelf in Judge Huey P. Cotton's chambers.
The rare artifacts, one imbedded with a shark's tooth, are the perfect catalyst, the judge believes, for introducing young visitors to the breadth and wonder of life.
For Cotton, such a moment came nine years ago at a deposition.
