SACRAMENTO - During a recent trial, Judge Michael Bowman drove home his focus on punctuality to a defendant who failed to come back in time after a 10-minute break in the testimony. The Sacramento County Superior Court judge told the man, outside the presence of the jury, that he needed to stick to the schedule and or next time could face coming back late with a jury seated and waiting for him to return.
