ORANGE - Superior Court Judge Fred W. Slaughter is not a small man in stature or presence.
The judge, who easily stands at six foot five, also exudes an almost unmatched positivity that seems infectious. His jocular style is somewhat restrained while he's on the bench, according to attorneys who practice in front of him, but off the bench he's relentlessly gung ho about life.
