SACRAMENTO - As a federal prosecutor, Steven Lapham handled some of the most notorious cases to arise out of the Eastern District but now as a juvenile judge, he's shifted from trying to lock people up to helping young people avoid prison.
His new job still satisfies his love of solving puzzles - and in this new setting that means finding ways to get troubled kids on the right path.
