LOS ANGELES - Once a year, Judge Charles F. Palmer travels to St. John's College in Santa Fe, N.M. to participate in a seminar in which he and 15 other people from around the country discuss classic literary works, such as "Moby Dick," "The Iliad," "War and Peace" and "Don Quixote."
The course is structured differently than at traditional undergraduate universities or even law school.
