A football coach, a classical Greek philosopher, a constitutional scholar and even a convicted murderer - Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Stephen J. Pfahler has learned lessons from them all.
What he learned from them, and others, helped Pfahler become a judge in March 2006, a goal he had established a dozen years ago.
