SACRAMENTO - For Sacramento County Superior Court Judge Laurel White, a particular memory from when she was an attorney has taken on a new significance. She was arguing at a hearing where the judge was going back and forth, wrestling with making the call.
"Just decide," she remembers saying to herself at the time. But now on the bench herself, she said she realizes it's not that simple.
