HAYWARD - The plaintiff's attorney pounds the table in Brenda F. Harbin-Forte's courtroom. It's two days before the trial is scheduled to begin, and he's not happy. The defendant in this product liability case is trying to bring in another company - a supplier - to defend a bicycle part. The plaintiff is a young girl who suffered injuries when her bike failed as she rode down a hill.
