SAN DIEGO - At 63, with two grown children, San Diego County Superior Court Judge Steven R. Denton has recently become a father again. And he loves it.

Denton and his wife have two young foster children, a 3-year-old boy and a 4-year-old girl, whom they plan to adopt. Denton said it wasn't what they planned for this point in their lives, but the opportunity arose, and they jumped at it.
