SAN FRANCISCO U.S. District Judge Jeffrey S. White has a shot at a rare judicial coup: his landmark February opinion finding unconstitutional part of the controversial Defense of Marriage Act could go straight to the U.S. Supreme Court for review, bypassing the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
