SAN FRANCISCO - For an unassuming guy, Justice Robert Dondero has seen his share of action. First, there was the one that jump-started his career, 40 years ago, when he prosecuted four African-American men who set San Francisco on edge in the early 1970s when they indiscriminately murdered 14 white people in racially motivated attacks.
