EL CAJON - Joel R. Wohlfeil, now a Superior Court judge in El Cajon, was seated in his chambers, recalling a high point of his legal career - helping the families of Sept. 11 victims.
At the time, he and his partners, Steven Boudreau and Andrews S. Albert, were among a group of lawyers who volunteered their services as part of the Victims Compensation Fund that Congress established.
