ALAMEDA - One of the things Alameda County Superior Court Judge Ioana Petrou enjoys the most about her new job is the feeling that she's making a real impact on her community.
In her family law assignment, Petrou has had to quickly learn an area of law in which she had no experience while making tough calls on issues such as child custody and property division.
