For Sonoma County Superior Court Judge Bradford DeMeo, his appointment to the bench was a tribute to his late grandfather.
After spending his entire career with a law practice that spanned three generations of his family, he had a heart-to-heart with his father about whether or not to apply for a judicial position - something his grandfather, a former trial lawyer, had always aspired to.
