COMPTON — Everyone refers to Judge Julian Recana the same way, unless he happens to be in the same room with his father, who's also a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge.
"Back in my first year on the bench, we were taking a class together ... when they asked us to do introductions. I'm 'the other Judge Recana,'" he said.
