SUNNYVALE - As a lawyer, James Towery always split his time between his day job as a civil litigator and his extensive volunteer work in legal organizations, including a challenging tenure as State Bar president. Now as a judge on the Santa Clara County Superior Court, he has been able to turn his full attention to public service. And his only regret now is that he didn't seek a judgeship sooner.
