NORWALK - By the time Yvonne Sanchez finished law school, she knew exactly where she wanted to be: in the courtroom.
"Prosecution, defense," she said. "It didn't matter."
As fate would have it, however, she was entering a depressed job market at the end of a severe recession. Neither the district attorney nor the public defender was hiring.
