NORWALK - Lawyers breezing through trial testimony and cross-examination in Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Robert J. Higa's courtroom sometimes forget the veteran judge is even there.
Higa, one of the state's longest serving superior court judges, is not one to interfere.
"He only blows the whistle when someone calls a foul," said Bellflower attorney Andrew M. Stein.
