SAN JOSE - Santa Clara County Superior Court Judge Ronald Toff got hooked on the law at a young age.

"His father was a premier trial lawyer, very highly respected in this area," explained fellow Santa Clara Judge Kevin McKenney, a longtime friend of Toff's. "He just commanded the courtroom. That rubbed off on Ron, obviously."
