SAN FRANCISCO - When Justice Timothy Reardon was a judge in San Francisco County Superior Court 25 years ago, he walked by the office of a fellow judge for a week straight and wondered what he was looking at so intently.
"I didn't know what he was staring into," Reardon recalls. "I thought he was just watching TV." Reardon's colleague finally told him: It was a computer.
