SACRAMENTO - For years, Richard Sueyoshi was active in Asian-American legal and business groups, working on initiatives such as student mentoring and increasing diversity on the bench. To measure his success, he needed only to look in the mirror: Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger appointed Sueyoshi to the Sacramento County Superior Court in 2009.
