SANTA MONICA - For someone who had spent her entire legal career immersed in criminal law, Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Jacqueline A. Connor has found a comfortable home on the civil bench.

Connor spent her first 26 years in the legal profession as a county prosecutor and a criminal court judge, working on some highly charged cases, including the Rampart police corruption scandal.
