FULLERTON — Judge Joe Perez inherited a few legal heirlooms from his father, retired Judge James Perez, including his old robe and his chambers.

The robe is a bit tattered and no longer worn, but the view his father enjoyed from his chambers, overlooking an Orange County park where the younger Perez used to play, is still just as good.
