Libel Suit Against Firm Survives Early Motions

A judge left intact Wednesday the bulk of a libel and slander lawsuit brought against Wayne S. Braveman, a law partner at Heller Ehrman White & McAuliffe, by his former lover, Steven Dwyer, who claims the lawyer falsely told Dwyer's family and friends he was HIV-positive.
