Two L.A. Judges Are Sanctioned by Discipline Board

In a busy day for the state Commission on Judicial Performance, two Los Angeles judges were publicly admonished Thursday: one for failing to rule on seven cases within the 90 days required by law, the other for appointing a lawyer to whom he rents office space to represent defendants in about 100 cases.
