It's the July 15th weekend as I write this, so you must surely know that in spite of widespread anticipation of "Carmageddon," nothing of the sort has happened. "Carmageddon" was forecast because of the two-day closing of the 405 freeway as it crosses the Sepulveda Pass, to accommodate demolition of the bridge that takes Mulholland Drive over the 405 freeway (known to us old timers as the San Diego freeway).
