Election officials have yet to count at least 2.3 million ballots statewide, leaving the coveted attorney general's spot still up for grabs.


As of Friday afternoon, the Secretary of State's results showed Republican Steve Cooley trailing Democrat Kamala Harris 3,356,183 to 3,344,179 - a slim margin of 12,004 votes.
