Longevity, Writing Distinguish Mosk

Just a little over a week ago, a record was broken. I mentioned it to an elderly uncle of mine who was a musician. I should have been more explicit. "It's shameful to break a good record," he said. He thought I was speaking of the kind we used to put on turntables. For him, one should take special care of a record, particularly if it was made by Caruso, Horowitz, Bix Beiderbecke or Artie Shaw, for example.
