SAN JOSE - Last week's lawsuits by San Francisco and Santa Clara counties accusing natural gas providers of price gouging came just two days after the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals tossed out a state lawsuit accusing electricity wholesalers of much the same thing.
