High court says online travel companies are not hotel operators
The California Supreme Court has now ruled in favor of the group. It included such household names as Hotels.com, Priceline, Expedia, Hotwire, Travelocity, Orbitz and others. The issue in the case concerned the hotel occupancy taxes charged by San Diego. By Robert W. Wood
