Commission Supports Proposed Juvenile Laws

Members of the Los Angeles Board of Police Commissioners has signaled their support for state laws that would lower to 12 from 14 the age a person is presumed to know that committing a crime is wrong, give police greater access to personal information, give juvenile courts the ability to mete out adult sentences on kids and increase officers' ability to detain youths.
