Judge Went to Medical School During Sick Days

SAN FRANCISCO - A Los Angeles Superior Court judge, accused of "malingering" by a judicial watchdog agency, said Monday that he attended a Caribbean medical school during some of the 402 sick days he took since 1996 while trying to explore career alternatives after becoming too sick to continue on the bench.
