Cotchett attorney elected chair of judicial watchdog agency
The Cotchett, Pitre & McCarthy LLP principal is the first female lawyer to hold the post.

Nanci E. Nishimura, a principal at Cotchett, Pitre & McCarthy LLP, is the first female attorney to be elected chair of the Commission on Judicial Performance, the panel announced Monday.
The Burlingame lawyer will replace Justice Ignazio J. Ruvolo, who recently retired from serving on the 1st District Court of Appeal in San Francisco.
